Transcript Setup

Building an example command

To setup an example command using BotGhost you may follow the steps below (Share code: CMD_1c2b5865-f158-4ea8-b70e-befe22dbcf0a):

  1. Step 1

    Section titled “Step 1”

    Navigate to the Command Builder and open it

  2. Step 2

    Section titled “Step 2”

    Give your command a name and a description

    Place a ‘Send an API Request’ block and an ‘Send or Edit a Message’ Block

    Give your API Request block a name and open the Request Builder

    In the Request Builder paste the following values:

  6. Step 6

    Open the Message Builder of the ‘Send or Edit a Message’ Block

  7. Step 7

    Section titled “Step 7”

    Enter the message that should get send when the transcript has been created. In this example you can use {transcript.response.url} to paste the URL to the created transcript.

    Save your command then reload discord (Windows: ctrl + r, Apple: command + r) and try it out!
