Add a OAuth2 Application

Adding an Application to your Account

Section titled “Adding an Application to your Account”

  1. Step 1

    Section titled “Step 1”

    Navigate to the discord developers portal and select the application you want to verify users with.

  2. Step 2

    Section titled “Step 2”

    Navigate to the OAuth2 Section and copy your Client ID and reset then copy your Client Secret

  3. Step 3

    Section titled “Step 3”

    Navigate to ReqBin and paste this into the big field in the middle (highlighted in the screenshot):

  4. Step 4

    Section titled “Step 4”

    Replace the values with your actual values

  5. Step 5

    Section titled “Step 5”

    Now click on ‘Send’. If you did everything right it should look like this:

    Now you copy the redirect_url and navigate to the OAuth2 section. There add the redirect_url as a Redirect:

    Now you can start verifying users. To verify them you can either use the example_authorization_url from the API Request you just did or generate one with custom scopes (permissions) in the OAuth2 URL Generator.
